B Corp month takes place every March and is a global campaign to increase awareness of B Corp organisations and show how they differ from other businesses.

B Corp month litter pick with Keep Wales Tidy
Keep Wales Tidy is a leading environmental charity in Wales. They work on a range of projects focussed on improving the local environment, including:
- Organising community litter picking across Wales.
- Providing quality awards for beaches, parks, and green spaces.
- Getting children engaged with environmental issues through school projects.
- Campaigns to change public attitudes toward littering.
In addition, they support a network of over 200 litter picking hubs across Wales where anyone can borrow free equipment to clean up their local area.
During B Corp Month in 2025, we sent a team of volunteers from Matrix Booking to one of the litter picking hubs in Swansea.
The Environment Centre is an independent charity that has been championing environmental action in Swansea for over 30 years. It acts as a community hub for local environmental groups, runs workshops and events on sustainable living, and hosts a volunteer-run Green Shop offering plastic-free products. Their work empowers people and organisations to take practical action on the issues that matter most to their local environment.
In the morning, we met in a co-working location in Swansea and set out across multiple locations in the city, litter pickers in hand, spending four hours covering 6.5 miles of streets, beach, and public spaces.
By the end of the litter pick, the team had filled over 10 bags of rubbish. A clear reminder of just how much waste builds up in our everyday surroundings.
Neal Griffiths, Chief eXperience Officer and B Corp champion, Matrix Booking, said: “We really enjoyed volunteering for this charity. Good weather helped, but it’s mainly a great way of doing something simple that benefits everyone in the local community.”
