Adding interactive screens and sensors using Matrix Booking’s Hardware as a Service (Haas) to your buildings gets you even more value from the Matrix Booking software, and can increase comfort, safety and productivity for your employees and visitors. 

In addition to supplying your own hardware, or purchasing hardware from us, you can choose Hardware as a Service (HaaS) and enjoy the simplicity of working with one supplier for your booking system and in-building equipment, plus the assurance that if any device goes wrong, we’ll fix or replace it.

Hardware as a Service: How it works

Step 1: We set up your hardware and send it to your offices

This includes configuring the devices the way you require, and linking them into your wider Matrix Booking system. When the kit arrives, it’s ready to plug-and-play.

Step 2: Your facilities managers install and connect the hardware

To speed up your installation, we include elegant wall-mounting equipment for smaller displays as standard. Any occupancy sensors you’ve ordered will include adhesive pads to mount them to your desks. You can also add floor stands or kiosk mounts for bigger screens. 
And if you need any help as you’re getting your hardware set up, you can always contact us for support.

Step 3: We monitor the hardware and address any issues that arise

We remotely monitor your devices, to make sure everything’s working as it should. 
We’ll be able to fix most software-related problems remotely, without the need for your IT or facilities teams to do anything. 
If our monitoring spots a hardware problem, we’ll automatically notify your administrators and advise them what to do. If the issue can’t be fixed, we’ll replace the device.

Step 4: We apply patches and bug fixes when required

To help keep your hardware secure and working correctly, we’ll apply any patches and bug fixes as these become available. This covers the hardware itself, and the Matrix Booking software running on it. And because we do this remotely, there’s no effort required from your IT or facilities management teams.
